I bought this plant at the weekend at my local shop. Initially, it was the interesting leaves – which resemble four-leaved clovers – which attracted me. I hadn’t noticed the pink flowers as they are closed for much of the day but yesterday morning I caught them open.
It’s a sweet and very pretty little plant and I’m hoping I’ve positioned it in the right place in order for it to flourish. Its full name is Oxalis tetraphylla ‘Iron Cross’ and although its leaves are similar to clovers, it is related to the sorell family.
