Pacific Northwest Coast Native Art Revisited

northwestphotos

I suppose one could say that this particular blog post is a continuation, or Part II, of my previous blog post. There was so much in photos that I did not want to mix in with the first part. So here goes!

On the way back from my excursion along the northwest coastline on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington, I stopped by a favorite site of mine along Hwy 101 at Sequim: the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribal Center. Any passer-by can pull over at the ample parking area to get a view of the Puget Sound inlet and to admire the many wonderful, public exhibits of handcrafted arts and building structures. It’s hard not to want to take photos of the colorful, exquisite works of art by the tribe members. Some of the photos I took were posted on a previous blog. Here are a few more. Enjoy!
