Somewhere along the way to the Jardin du Luxembourg we encountered some writing on the wall. Leiden is famous for its wall poems (more on which another time, perhaps?), and so it was intriguing to run into the same thing in Paris. All the more interesting, this time we saw the act of creating the wall poems. The care and attention in the freehand painting is remarkable, given the essential consistency of the lettering.
So, weekly photo challenge – this is what create means to me. I made a photo of a man creating lettering on the wall from a poem written by another. Meta-creation?
Photo by PJD, trying to act all casual and not at all papparazzo-like at all. This may not have been successful, but at least the painter didn’t yell (or, really, seem to mind).
