Hello Fairbanks ~ Alaska

My campsite in Fairbanks at the River’s Edge Campground is big enough to fit all our toys and a spot for me to lounge after a long day (very long day…it never gets dark here) of Alaskan activities.

I’m not much of a museum guy but the Museum of the North at the University of Alaska is worth a stop.

Bridget drags me on some bike rides on the University Campus…

…and on trails just outside of campus. On this one I wish I had my mosquito head net. I learned…never leave home without it…at least if you’re in the woods.

One night (but you can’t tell it’s night because it never gets dark here) we go to the Pump House Restaurant and Saloon. Neal, squeamish at first, tries an Elk burger…and he likes it!
